GLP Remembrance challenge 2020

We have chosen our winners from all the fantastic, thought-provoking entries across our GLP schools.

Nursery and Reception chidlren were asked to create a wonderful Poppy image, using any resources and materials.

Years 1 to 6 were asked to use the monument picture below as a stimulus, to create a piece of writing that would be appropriate for the setting. It could be a poem inspired by the image, it could be an eyewitness account, it could include or be entitled: ‘From mud, through blood, to the green fields beyond’
